  • Darren Scott Ford (born October 1, 1985), nicknamed The Bullet, is an American former professional baseball center fielder. He is the grandson of Ted Ford, who played in the majors in the early 1970s. He played 33 games for the San Francisco Giants of Major League Baseball (MLB) in 2010 and 2011, used most often as a pinch runner. So glad to have him on and talk his time in the minors to his cup of tea in the majors winning the World Series title in 2010. Basically as he said it’s a grind to play the sport and kudos to him for not giving up on his dream. We also talked about his relationship with his fellow outfielders Lorenzo cain and Michael Brantley who go figure leave and get a title but good to know he stays in touch with them and also talked about his coaching the youngins today --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/byron-richmond/support
