One of those threats, according to some German officials, is the Alternative for Germany, widely known by its German initials AfD. We meet intelligence officials who have put parts of the party under formal surveillance.

Terrifying

What these journalists found while so thoroughly investigating far-right extremism in Germany, is terrifying. And mirrors what is happening here in the US and other democracies. We cannot be naive...it CAN happen here and everywhere.
