Stacey started her career as a geotechnical and environmental engineer in the mines in WA before working as a strategic planner for urban renewal in local government, consulting and then sitting on statutory, industry and community boards. 

    She now works with directors, aspiring directors and committees through her business ‘Board Presence’ to help them achieve their full potential and has just released her first book titled ‘Fly to the Boardroom’ where she demystifies the world of boards, the boardroom and board work, and provides guidance for how to get on a board. Whilst introductory in nature and an easy-to-read format, the book provides key information, insights and practical steps for aspiring, new and even experienced directors.
