  • For this weeks episode, I’m looking at the normalisation of dehumanising celebrities. Celebrities are something that are so wholly engrossed in our day to day lives that we have become somewhat accustomed to their eccentric lifestyle and lavish living that is portrayed on social media. But through that sense of normality with them, I have seen a higher influx in hating on celebrities and expecting unrealistic standards from them that we have now been led into a time of dehumanising them. I look at the supposed first ever celebrity so that I might understand the difference between these two lifestyles of old and modern.
