  • Hello, welcome to three truths. The Bible says in Ephesians 4:28: "He who steals should not steal anymore but rather work doing what is good with his hands so that he may have to share with the one who is in need."

    Three biblical truths about diligent work in this passage,

    Truth Number One: Work is difficult because of the fall. But the Lord commands us to do it because that is good. It is his will,

    Truth number two: Lack of diligence at work leads to sins such as laziness and theft. A person who, being able to work, does not do so, but instead consumes other people's resources, is participating in a form of theft.

    Truth Number Three: We work not only for ourselves or for our needs, but to have something to share with those who do not have or who suffer from some need.
