  • While he may be my brother, there is no denying that he has a way with words. Joe expresses himself quite eloquently in conversation and in his writing. We had such high interest in his first interview with us that we asked him to visit with us again. HEADS UP: This audio of the interview is raw and unedited. I left it unedited for a couple of reasons. First, while we had a moment of audio uncertainty when Joe first started reading in the interview, then what we were hearing when he began reading the poem a second time was very static-y. So, I thought I was going to have to edit it out, and have him read it again after the recording then edit it back in. HOWEVER, when the recording was done, his reading was perfectly clear, and the static we had heard during recording was no longer there. As I will sometimes do when we record, I decided to leave the entire interview as it was, with the exception of having to increase the volume on Rosalee's voice at one point. I hope you will enjoy the readings of his poems and the conversation.
