  • I wasn't sure that Dr. Nancy Hammond would take this interview. I literally called her and asked her. Who calls anyone these days? Who answers the phone if they don't recognize the number? I'm so thankful that her husband DID answer the phone and we were able to reconnect.

    In this episode Dr. Hammond tells her SURPRISING path to medicine. She wasn't daunted by  her stage of life, her age, other expectations on her. She thought about wanting to practice medicine and realized this was the right path for her and went for it WHILE raising her own family! 

    I was inspired by hearing her story.  No,  matter the season of life you are in now, if you want something go for it! Make a change. Do the hard work to get to where you want to be!

    I also wanted to share with you that Dr. Hammond and I discuss miscarriage and still births. I wanted to say that from the start in case this is a sensitive topic for you.
