Hi there Pokémon Trainers!

Madeline and I are still alive!
Woo!

Just to recap where we've been, we went to Belize for a week (it was incredible), and then came back home and almost immediately got sick. 🤢

Our Belize trip was incredible!
We spent half of it on the coast where we were able to get a lot of regional Pokémon in Pokémon GO, including Heracross, Corsola, Maractus, aaaaaaand HAWLUCHA!!

I'm a big fan of Hawlucha because it's based on masked Mexican wrestlers.
Growing up, I watched a lot of lucha libre with my dad and uncles and I loved it from the moment I first saw it.
From then I got into WWE, and I've been keeping up with the product ever since.
So when Hawlucha came to Pokémon GO, I knew that I had to get one, but was disappointed when I found out that it would be a regional.
But now we have some and I couldn't be any happier!

While we were in Belize we also took a guided tour of a Mayan cave.
It was crazy cool!
This cave is a protected area and very few people can go in per day, and you need a certified guide who can navigate you through the cave.
We were unfortunately not able to bring any cameras with us, but it was still an incredible experience that we will remember forever.

After our trip we came back home and everything was fine for the first few days back.
I even went back to work!
Then, not even a week back, we BOTH got sick!
It was horrible.
We couldn't keep anything down, we had no appetite, and we both lost weight.
We went to the Dr's and were put on antibiotics, which definitely helped, but then that came with its own problems.
Anyways!
Long story short, took a trip, came back home and got sick.
Now we're doing fine!

Hi there everyone!

Update!
Madeline finished her 1st year of nursing school and she did so well!
One year left and she'll be certified Nurse Joy.
Santiago is still working and currently applying to PA schools and it is stressing him out, so send him luck and good vibes if you can.

We recently celebrated our dog's, Apollo, one year gotcha day.
If you follow us on Instagram you might have seen him in a post or two.
We love our boy and we can't wait to spend many more years with him.
With that being said, we wanted to make a tier list with all of the dog and other canine-like Pokémon.
We like doing tier lists and this one was fun.
Madeline voiced her opinion on a certain dog Pokémon that Santiago was not aware of.
Santiago had strong opinions on a particular royal dog.

420 has long been associated with marijuana use in the United States, and the date April 20, which can also be written as 4/20 holds a special place in the hearts of cannabis enthusiast!

Hey there Pokémon Trainers!

Happy Pi Day!
What's Pi day?
It's March, 14, or 3.14, which is the number that represents a ratio between the circumference and diameter of a circle.
In other words, it's a number used a lot in geometry.

So we're doing this episode just so that we can talk about our favorite Pie inspired Pokémon, Appletun!!
There's actually quite a few Pokémon with the grass/dragon type and we'll be covering all of them in this episode.

Hi there Pokémon trainers!

Sorry again for the late episode.
Madeline and I found a puppy on the side of the road last week and we took it in to try to find its owners.
We have no experience raising a puppy, but we took him in anyways and we're now fostering him.
The puppy is now registered with our local animal shelter and will be staying with us until someone adopts him.
It took him a few days to get along with our 65 pound dog, but now they love to play together and cuddle with us.

Anyways!
Back to Pokémon!

Hi there Pokémon Trainers!

I hope that you all had a wonderful Pokémon day!
On February 27, 1996 Pokémon Red and Green were released in Japan and kicked off Poke-mania world wide.
I, Santiago, was one of those kids that was hooked into this franchise since the moment I played my first game.
This is a fun game that I was able to rope Madeline into playing as well and now we're both big fans of Pokémon.

With that being said, The Pokémon Company dropped a Pokémon Direct like they do every year for Pokémon Day.
Some of these Pokémon Directs can be dull, where they just announce updates to already existing games or upcoming events, but they do occasionally drop a trailer for the next game.

Listen to this week's episode as we go over what we saw for this years Direct, what we thought of it, and what we hope to see in the future.
We also tell each other a few lame jokes 😂
