  • Valerie L. Thomas is a woman that has done some amazing things within the science world and the world of NASA, where she was worked from 1964 - 1995.


    Mrs. Thomas create an invention that helped accomplish something that I never been done before at that time, send images from a satellite in space back to earth.



    The invention that she created is still being utilized by NASA and has found it's way into other technologies such as tools that surgeons use to look inside the human body.



    During this episode, I mention something that gave Mrs. Thomas the idea for her invention, something that she observed while at a science exhibit...
