But what does ESG really mean to businesses? What explains its meteoric rise and where is it headed? Izaan Khan, Privacy and Data Protection Consultant at Mazars, joins the conversation today to discuss the past, present and future of ESG, covering how ESG assurance works and its intersection with technology. Izaan is a certified Europrivacy Implementer and Auditor, and has been called to the Bar of England & Wales. He helps a variety of organisations and companies with their privacy management programs and data governance activities. 

Joining Izaan are Conrad Volker and William Hughes, both from Mazars. Conrad is a Director within the Technology & Digital team at Mazars, with over 20 years of experience in professional services including at a Big Four audit firm. His focus is on Third Party Assurance, specifically System and Organisation Controls (SOC) reporting, having experience across a wide range of industry sectors. William is the Sustainability Services Lead at Mazars, and is an IEMA certified carbon footprint analyst. He possesses a proven track record in ESG and the delivery of exceptional commercial results, overseeing and directing all business operations in line with objectives and performance targets.
