Eating Disorders Are Not Good

  • Resumen

  • Trigger warning: discussion of eating disorders/treatment.

On today's episode, Caitie Crosby joins the podcast to discuss her nearly lifelong battle with anxiety and eating disorders. Caitie is a Project Manager, Photographer and animal enthusiast from New England. Diagnosed with anxiety at a very young age, which ultimately contributed to a long battle with eating disorders, Caitie sought treatment in 2016. In recovery, she now seeks to use her experience to educate others on the complexities of eating disorders and their comorbidity with other mental illnesses. When not working, you're most likely to find her somewhere in a field on her horse, with her dog in tow.

If you or someone you love is struggling with an eating disorder and needs help and support, please check out the National Eating Disorders Association and call/text their hotline at 800-931-2237 (please see website for hotline hours as it is not 24/7).

If you or a loved one is in need of immediate psychiatric assistance, please call the 24/7 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline at 988.
