  • Ellen Shannon, Executive Director for the National Capital Area Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide, drops by the BIG 100 studio.

    She and Lisa talk about the upcoming 'Out of the Darkness' walks that are happening in our area. Lisa will be hosting the Fairfax walk on Sept. 29 at Fairfax City Hall.

    They also discuss the important work that AFSP is involved with everyday, and the establishment of the 988 national suicide hotline.
