Considering the current state of affairs, language like de-fund the police, systematic police reform, or reconstruction of training is often the main talking point within various settings. This is due to the consistent trend of misconduct when engaged with people of color, primarily African Americans, for what often tends to be nothing more than prejudices and/or stereotypes.
