Many people claim that 1 John 3:10 is teaching that a false believer will be known by the life they live. If they are living and practicing righteousness, then they are a true believer. However, if they aren't practicing righteousness, then they are a false believer and need to repent to be saved. But is that truly what 1 John 3:10 means? The Greek word "teknon" sheds light onto this passage.
