  • What's up everyone? Thank you for tuning in to Lauren's Library Podcast. This podcast is a place for people to come and discuss all things books. Here in Lauren's Library everyone is welcome, but black women are especially celebrated. So come on in and get comfortable because we have a lot to talk about!


    Segment 1: White Authors, Black Stories. - More instances of authors doing too much. Liz Tomforde's Mile High series seems to be causing controversy. It's bringing up the question: can white authors accurately write black stories?


    Segment 2: Blackoween 2023 - Can you believe the holiday season is already here? It feels like the year just started! To kick off Halloween season, I am picking spooky books written by black authors.

    Segment 3: A short story written by Lauren Roach aka The Booky Babe called "Welcome to the Health Department" This was an old submission from a writing contest. Didn't win but I placed third! About a weird first day at work.
