  • A structure in Seguin, TX that is nearly as old as the state itself nearly became lost to history but thanks to its current owners, The Magnolia Hotel is being restored. From its beginnings as a two-room log cabin to its pre-restoration reputation as being a den for vagrants and drug abusers, the building has been a stagecoach stop, brothel, rental units, witnessed deaths and has even played a small part in the tragedy of a 12-year-old New Braunfels girl’s death in 1874.
