Breaking is making its debut in the 2024 Paris Olympics and The Dancing Housewife shares a bit of history including how Breaking was born, gained worldwide exposure in the 1980s and eventually evolved into an elite competitive sport, worthy of being contested at the Olympic Games.

    Learn what to look for during the the Olympic Breaking competition including elements such as top rock, go downs, footwork, freezes, power moves, tricks, and transitions, judging criteria as well as the roles of the MC and DJ. You don't want to miss history being made as 16 of the world's top B-boys and 16 of the world's top B-girls go for gold in one-on-one solos battles for the first time ever on an Olympic dance floor. Breaking events will take place on August 9th and 10th and will be broadcast live on NBC and streamed on Peacock.
