  • Tangerine Clement had found it, that niggling whisper at the edge of perception, and it stared right back at her. Its large eyes were so green that they swallowed up the very world around them. Then it smiled and smiled, and smiled, showing silver teeth, stained rusted red, more teeth than anything on this earth had any right to have.
