  • Hazel is a multidisciplinary artist, creative facilitator, and storyteller. She is a woman of mixed Anishinaabe, Finnish, Irish, and English heritage. Her art practice explores the themes of kinship, belonging, and the radical interconnection of all living beings. She expresses herself through colour and pattern, painting and silk-screening, textile and film, storytelling and community weaving. She has a BFA in film studies from Toronto Metropolitan University
