  • In 2001, over 20 years after Ray’s conviction, his plea for support lands on the desk of Duke University Law Professor Jim Coleman, who has just launched a Wrongful Convictions Clinic at the law school. Jim and several of his students jump headfirst into an effort to reinvestigate the murder of Richard Holloman and the investigation that led to Ray’s conviction. After a decade of raw investigative effort, the students of the Duke Wrongful Conviction Clinic pave the way for Ray Finch to get his case back in front of a judge. But have they gathered enough evidence to demonstrate that Ray was railroaded at his first trial?
