  • Thanks Listener Rodney's (Rob Nease) for the suggestion. We had a great time with this episoe and we hope you enjoy it!  It's interesting how after the conversation you can think of all the things you wanted to mention but didn't. So we acknowledge beforehand that we might have missed some things.

    We do talk about the shoestring budget this movie was made on, Cribbage, Bruce Dern, space limitation in, well, space travel, and the very few number of humans in this movie. Product placement and overarching messages, coupled with corporate sponsorship in outer space.

    All in all, a good movie, with great ship design and 75 degrees of moderately plant-free existence. Nukes in space make spheres and, sadly, we didn't talk about going "space happy".
