  • Filipinos are known for being loving, caring, and warm. So when it comes to mental health, a fellow Filipino is sure to get you the necessary care you need. But what about OFW’s? Being far from home brings about challenges that are hard to face alone, especially when it comes to mental health. So what can our kababayans living abroad do to overcome this?

    In this episode, we have Dr. Monica Walet, a registered psychologist with extensive experience in Applied Psychology, to discuss how to face these challenges. She has shared and presented her findings in scientific conferences held in France, Greece, Japan, Indonesia, and Malaysia. She has also had her fair share in experiencing firsthand the hardships of living abroad when she occupied Academic Leadership positions in international and private colleges in Singapore.
