  • A mob enforcer and his apprentice have breakfast in a countryside café, on their way to their next job. But things don't go as expected.

Sure.

The first story is rubbish, the others are great. Quite a mixed, unexpected collection. Narrators are great.

Drones on and on

The narration is s l o w and monotonous. The stories are convoluted instead of mysterious. I have enjoyed other work by some of the authors, but not this.
