  • Steven Galster is the Director and Co-founder of Freeland, a non-profit organization fighting against wildlife trafficking and human slavery. Throughout the COVID-19 global crisis, he has become a strong advocate for a global wildlife trade ban and an educator on wet markets and zoonotic diseases, or diseases that can be transmitted from animals to human. Here he discusses the relationship between zoonotics and COVID-19 as well as a more global perspective with the One Health approach.
