Diet certainly impacts our brains

That's Mental episode of Gutfull focuses on how our diet impacts our brain and its health. As mentioned by Dr. Joanna, Japanese diet and Mediterranean diet are indeed healthy. Dr. Joanna also mentioned of Nordic diet though more information would have been wonderful.

We like Mediterranean diet and sort of follow a diet that is very much like Mediterranean diet which includes fruits, vegetables, nuts & seeds, extra virgin olive oil, herbs, spices, garlic and onion, cheese, yogurt, A2 milk and occasionally salmon, chicken, egg whites and very few whole eggs although we do not eat any grains and rarely eat legumes. The only fluid we usually drink every day is just water. It's been at least a couple of years of this diet and so far so good.

It is true what Dr. Joanna mentions that enjoying freshly preapred healthy nutritious food with family and friends certainly improves mood and long term health and performance of not just microbiome but also the vital brain. Though, I disagree with wine suggestion and wine is not healthy even when its assumed to be healthy.
