  • The Pokemon Spinoff category wraps up with something a little different. Pokemon Go was released on July 6, 2016 for iOS and Android, and is the first mobile game covered on the pod.

    The brothers go through the timeline of Pokemon Go and discuss a lot of things about the game you may have forgotten about. They also discuss the different circumstances that surrounded the game including topics of safety, legal, marketing (Pete urges everyone to rewatch the original commercial with the Mewtwo raid) and how it transcended far beyond video games.

    Pete discussed his wide search for regionals and Tom explains the time he got a soft ban.

    Ant starts playing as the brothers are recording and starts describing everything he’s seeing on his screen.

    Ant’s nephews join the extended mid episode filler to give the perspective of the younger player, a discussion that bleeds into the animated series and mainline games.
