Pronounced: E-DIN-BUR-A. It’s torture to hear it pronounced: E-DIN-BURG.

That being said, after the first two chapter 0s, which were very difficult to get through, it actually gets a lot better. There are terrible technical difficulties, but the content is pretty good. You don’t have to know Dresden, the characters are different and from a different era, but being familiar with Dresden’s world is recommended. It’s a very richly created, deeply detailed, and vastly populated world.

The hosts are playing a fantasy role playing game with “The Dresden Files” as the theme, so if you’re unfamiliar with the game, it might be confusing. It’s not scripted, there’s no set story, they create it as they go along. It helps that the lead person is very good at doing his part, he keeps it moving along.

I’m only through chapter 1, but I will listen to the next chapter with some interest.

It’s funny, deeply historical, and if you’re a Dresden fan, or a fantasy role playing game fan, I think it’s worth a try.
