  • Producer and actor Steven Sims reconnects with his college friend and award-winning podcaster, Josh Larkin, to tell the behind the scene stories of moving to Los Angeles and finding work as an actor – only to find out you're a dead ringer for somebody who just caught their big break. Throughout the season Sims and Josh will reconnect as they invite on the friends, collaborators, and actors who lived these stories alongside Steve during his Jonah Hill era starting in 2007. In this episode, Sims and Josh finally sit down to reconnect after thirteen years of an online-only friendship. Later the two will discuss the expectations versus the reality of moving to Los Angeles and bring on Hollywood actress Alison Trumbull (NCIS, Jane the Virgin) to share her experiences in LA, initially meeting Sims, and what it's like to audition during a global pandemic.
