  • This week we had the delight of hearing Les Sherwen share a message on how intimacy with Jesus brings fruitfulness in our lives! Les is not only the father of our pastor Josiah, but also a father in the Zion house.

    Les invites us to sit with these two questions…

    Have you met Jesus, encountered and experienced Him?

    And what are you going to do Him and why?

    In John 15 we can see three keys to focus on.

    Bearing fruit, obedience and dying to self

    Bearing Fruit comes from abiding in Jesus and relationships in church community

    Obedience to the Father means keeping and obeying His word

    Dying to self is tough and it is something He calls us to do everyday

    We must always remember it is God's gracious work towards us

    His fruit in us

    The Christian journey is not easy, but if we stay attached to the vine

    And allow Jesus to be in our lives, allow Him to grow us

    He leads us through from this beautiful place of intimacy with Him
