  • IPAs are the craze. CM and Mark decided to taste & smell the difference between two of the most popular hops in craft beer. The guys visited Tony Ammendolia from Final Gravity Brewing Company to get an education on Mosaic and Citra hops.  

    Final Gravity brews The Doppler Effect with only Mosaic hops. Doppler Effect was the 2018 Gold Medal Winner at Virginia Craft Brewers Cup. This also ranked #12 in Paste Magazines best IPAs. 

    On the Citra side, Doppelganger is brewed with only Citra hops on the same base as The Doppler Effect. CM and Mark enjoy both beers with their pinkies out. After tasting each beer, they buried their noses into a bag of Mosaic and then Citra hops. The differences were incredible and both beers are great.   

    Mark goes on to do exactly what Tony told him not to do and eats a pellet of Hops! “Anything for the Show” claimed Mark.
