Coming from the Indian state of Telangana and like the film 3 Idiots, Maj Dasgupta contributed thrice to his nation - twice as a soldier with both father and he being war heroes and once by rejoining the Army as an officer again during a national emergency. A Soldier never quits till he is dead.
