Episode 2: The Brooklyn Boys

  • Resumen

  • The most prominent media figure in America calls for the creation of a militia, armed Americans willing to use violence to get their way. What they want is to overthrow the U.S. government and to end democracy in this country – by force. Their plot raised alarming indications that the federal government is not up to the task of dealing with that kind of homegrown threat.

Rachel Maddow, PhD Connects The Dots Between History And Current Events

Ms. Maddow is a brilliant historian and scholar who writes of the correlations between past historical events and the current political environment we are experiencing today. This episode demonstrates why our Constitution is explicit about separation of church and state. Also, the fragility of our democracy is not new, but rather has been challenged throughout our history. We must be vigilant in protecting our Constitution and democracy. Outside authoritarian institutions are continually trying to undermine our democratic system.
