About Nicole Biros Bolton: Hello​,​ I am a human rights and employment lawyer at Ross & McBride LLP in Hamilton​,​ ON. I serve all of Ontario. Before becoming a lawyer​,​ I spent 20+ years working as a front-line counsellor and advocate for women​,​ children and gender-diverse individuals who experienced violence​,​ trauma and abuse. I believe that justice and equity are non-negotiable and always worth fighting for and I pursue these goals with empathy and compassion for my clients. I hold a law degree from King’s College London​,​ UK​,​ and a Masters in Human Rights Law from the University of London​,​ UK. I'm a board member for Parkdale Community Legal Services and the Toronto Fringe and I am a member-at-large on the Ontario Bar Association's Constitutional​,​ Civil Liberties and Human Rights Executive Committee. In 2021​,​ I founded and am now the Chair of the Hamilton Branch of the Women's Legal Education and Action Fund (LEAF)​,​ supporting the work of LEAF National to promote gender equality in Canada through law. While not working to promote social justice​,​ you can find me with my partner and three wonderful children​,​ dancing​,​ hiking and cooking up a storm.
