Episode 3 - Perfectly Imperfect When It Comes To Society Standards.

  • Resumen

  • In this episode, I’m gonna be discussing how society standards look at people that have flaws, imperfections, disabilities, or have made mistakes in their past. A lot of people won’t even take the time to get to know a person if they are not attractive, have money, success, or popular. It seems like everything that is right seems very very wrong when it comes to dealing with people. People want you to lower your standards in order to be with them versus them coming up to your standards in order to be with you. A lot of people end up with low self-esteem, low self-worth, low self value, no respect for themselves, to the point where they don’t think they’re good enough, nor do they believe in themselves, and some people may end up committing suicide because they don’t fit society standards because of their imperfections, flaws, disabilities, mistakes that they’ve made in their past. And I need people to stop feeling like something is wrong with you because you have flaws,
imperfections, disabilities, illnesses, diseases, or made mistakes in your past. This is the reason why a lot of people end up going and doing plastic surgery, becoming anorexic, bulimic, and and doing things in order to take the easy way out when it comes to correcting these flaws and imperfections. The truth is, I don’t care how much you do plastic surgery, or lose weight, it’s not gonna matter if mentally you’re the same person you were before you lost the weight
