Episode 40: The Unraveling of Horrors By H.H.Holmes

  • Resumen

  • Welcome to Season 4!!! H.H. Holmes, born Herman Webster Mudgett in 1861, became infamous as America's first known serial killer. Moving to Chicago in the late 1880s, he built the "Murder Castle," a hotel designed with secret passages and rooms to facilitate his murders. During the 1893 World's Fair, he lured many victims with promises of lodging or work, masking his sinister intentions behind a charming exterior. Holmes was eventually arrested in 1894 for his crimes, which included elaborate insurance fraud. He confessed to numerous murders and was executed by hanging in 1896. His legacy remains a dark chapter in criminal history.
