    BETH MOHLE AM

    Secretary of the Queensland Nurses and Midwives’ Union

    Beth first started nursing in 1983, working as a Registered Nurse in a medical ward at the Royal Brisbane Hospital. Through the Queensland Nurses and Midwives’ Union (QNMU), Beth has worked hard to advance the industrial, professional and social interests and values of Queensland’s nurses and midwives across all sectors.

    As QNMU Secretary, her focus remains firmly on members and using numerous avenues to address the challenges they confront in their daily working lives.

    Beth is the Senior Vice President of the Queensland Council of Unions and a member of Union Aid Abroad – APHEDA. She is also a past board member of the Queensland Community Alliance. Until 2012, Beth served as a board member of HESTA for over 11 years, including a term as both Chair and Deputy Chair. In 2008, Beth was named Trustee of the Year by the Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees. She is a Fellow of the AIST. Since December 2013, Beth has been a Trustee Director of QSuper.
