  • This series had its highs and lows considering each game was a blowout where either the Yankees were getting blown out or they were doing that to the Blue Jays. Some key positives though is that Gerrit Cole had a huge bounce back start going 5 innings pitched giving up just one earned run and striking out six batters. On offense the Yankees had multi hit games from DJ, Torres, and Grisham which was nice to see. Aaron Judge continues to be insane with a multi hit game, hitting his 31st home run of the year, passing Bernie Williams as 7th all time on the Yankees all time home-runs list. Michael Tonkin was great out the pen and the Yankees are at least able to split the series against a bad Toronto team. Yankees have off tomorrow and then the Reds come into town.
