  • Welcome to That NICU Mum, a podcast sharing stories from New Zealand parents who have been in a neonatal unit across the country.

    Today we chat with Rylee, a young mum who had twin girls born at 33 weeks. Unfortunately, her twin B, Hazel, was born with a brain injury and heartbreakingly passed away at just four days old.

    Rylee shares with us her journey through grief while also navigating NICU and SCBU with her twin A, Seana, and how this affected her as a person and as a parent.


    A huge thank you to Rylee for sharing her story with us - it's never easy, and even less so when you are talking about the loss of your child.
