  • Episode 323 When Your Inner Moon Feels Out of Sync: A Pressure Relief Ritual
    Nov 6 2025

Feel like you're about to explode and want to blame the full moon? Here's the truth: it's probably not the moon making you want to scream - it's the mismatch between your internal rhythm and the external pressure of daily life.

In this episode of Stay Magic, we explore what happens when your natural energy cycle is constantly at odds with a world that demands go-go-go productivity. This isn't just about astrology - it's about understanding why you feel so overwhelmed when your inner world can't catch up to the demands of your outer world.

    You'll discover:

      • Why that explosive feeling has more to do with energetic mismatch than moon phases
      • How to recognize when external pressure is crushing your natural rhythm
      • A powerful 15-minute pressure relief ritual you can do anywhere (move, voice, breathe)
      • How to track your energy cyclically instead of linearly to see the patterns you're missing
      • Why midlife shifts and identity transitions create especially intense pressure points

    • If you've ever felt crowded out of your own life or like one more thing will make you pop, this episode is your permission slip to honor your rhythm instead of fighting it. Because here's what we know: you are nature, with natural cycles - and pretending otherwise is what's really making you want to explode.

  • Episode 322: Choosing the Cage: Why You Keep Returning & How to Finally Break Free
    Oct 30 2025

Welcome back to the Stay Magic podcast! I'm Sara Walka, founder of The Sisters Enchanted. Today we're exploring the devil card in tarot and asking: Why do you keep choosing the cage when you already hold the key?

The devil card freaks people out, but it's one of the most misunderstood cards in tarot. It's not about external evil, it's about the chains we voluntarily wear and the cages we return to, even when we're quietly suffocating.

The traditional imagery shows two figures loosely chained together. The key detail? Those chains are loose enough to slip off. They're not trapped, they're choosing to stay.

You already know you have the power to change. But knowing you have the key and actually using it are two very different things.

Why don't we use it? Because what's on the other side feels terrifying:

    • Loss of identity
    • Fear of judgment
    • The unknown
    • Comfort in the status quo

I had a challenging relationship with a family member who was emotionally detached and had hurt me before. I kept reaching out, trying to fix things, rechaining myself to that situation because I was afraid of what it would mean about me if I let it go.

I already had the key. I just had to choose to be free and face the discomfort of what happens next.

The devil card is about choosing to allow yourself to be free. It's about understanding why you're afraid to change and what you're getting from staying stuck.

    Try this three-card spread:

    1. What am I getting from staying?
    2. What am I afraid I'll lose if I leave?
    3. Who do I become when I finally walk away?

What would I do if I weren't afraid of being free?

This question breaks the spell. It cuts through the fear and reminds you that the cage is a choice and so is freedom.

  • Episode 321 Witch Wound Series Episode 4
    Oct 24 2025

Ever caught yourself dimming your light, second-guessing your voice, or performing for approval - again? That's witch wound energy, and the moon holds your key to healing it.

In this final episode of The Witch Wound Series, we explore how lunar rhythms offer you constant opportunities to check in with your feeling body, release what's keeping you small, and reclaim your power in real-time. If seasonal cycles are your big-picture healing work, the moon is your day-to-day shadow work practice - a monthly reset to reconnect with who you really are beneath all the "I must" and "I should" conditioning.

    You'll discover:

      • How the 28-day lunar cycle mirrors seasonal energy on a more intimate, accessible scale
      • Why the moon represents your inner world (I feel) while the sun represents your outer world (I am)
      • Simple ways to use lunar rhythms for immediate shadow work and witch wound healing
      • How ancestral patterns keep us hiding our power - and why healing this benefits everyone
      • Why working with the moon in community (not in secret) is essential for true belonging
    • This is your permission slip to stop performing, stop fitting in, and start belonging - unconditionally. Your magic was never meant to be hidden.

  • Episode 320 Witch Wound Series Part 3: Healing the Witch Wound Through Seasonal Living
    Oct 16 2025

Ever feel like you need to be "on" all the time - constantly creating, constantly producing, constantly proving your worth? That exhaustion you're feeling? It's the witch wound, and it's time to heal it.

In this third episode of our Witch Wound series on Stay Magic, Sara explores how disconnecting from nature's seasonal rhythms keeps us stuck in impossible standards. This isn't just about celebrating sabbats - it's about remembering that you ARE nature, and your energy, creativity, and power all have seasons.

    You'll discover:

      • Why constantly pushing without rest actually widens the witch wound for all of us
      • How winter (rest), spring (emergence), summer (visibility), and autumn (release) create a healing cycle
      • The connection between imposter syndrome and living against your natural rhythms
      • What the "glass cliff" phenomenon reveals about how women are set up as scapegoats
      • Why honoring your season is often the most powerful thing you can do

This is your reminder that you don't need to be on all the time to be magical. If you've ever felt like you're drowning in the constant pressure to perform, produce, and prove yourself, this episode is your permission slip to honor the season you're actually in.

  • Episode 319 The Witch Wound Series Part 2: Community, Belonging & Breaking Intentional Invisibility
    Oct 9 2025

Ever find yourself shrinking back in groups, even ones where you should feel at home? Maybe you're posting less in online communities or keeping your wins quiet because you don't want to be "too much"? That's the witch wound at work, and it's time to talk about it.

In this episode of Stay Magic, Sara explores how the witch wound wasn't created in isolation and it sure as hell can't be healed there either. This is about the difference between fitting in (exhausting) and truly belonging (transformative), and why so many spiritual women are accidentally deepening their witch wound by choosing invisibility over community.

    You'll discover:

      • Why the witch wound was literally created in community and what that means for your healing journey today
      • The Stanford study that revealed how professional women practice "intentional invisibility" to avoid conflict (and how this keeps you small)
    • The crucial difference between belonging and fitting in, and why trying to fit in actually widens your witch wound

    • How being witnessed and celebrated (not validated) is essential medicine for reclaiming your power as a witchy woman

    • Three signs you're self-excluding from community and what to do about it instead

This is your permission slip to stop hiding the parts of you that feel too witchy, too powerful, or too much. Because here's the truth: your magic isn't meant to be whispered in the shadows. It's meant to be shared, witnessed, and celebrated in community.

  • Episode 318 The Witch Wound Series Part 1: What the Witch Wound Really Is (And Why You Can't Heal It Alone)
    Oct 2 2025

Ever catch yourself over-explaining your decisions, hiding your tarot deck when company comes over, or feeling guilty for wanting more? That's the witch wound talking, and it's time we called it out.

In this first episode of a powerful four-part series on Stay Magic, we're diving into what the witch wound actually is (spoiler: it has nothing to do with historical witchcraft and everything to do with power, visibility, and being "too much"). This is about the fear that's been passed down through generations, the one that tells women to stay small, stay quiet, and definitely don't take up too much space.

    You'll discover:

      • What the witch wound really is and how it shows up in modern life (from workplace dynamics to hiding your spiritual practice)
      • Why downplaying your power, dimming your intuition, and apologizing for being "too much" are all witch wound patterns
      • The real history behind witch trials and why competent women are still judged as "less likable" today
      • Why healing this wound in isolation doesn't work (and what does)
      • How returning to seasonal rhythms and lunar cycles can help rebuild your nervous system and capacity for standing in your power

    • Here's the truth: the witch wound isn't your fault, but healing it is in your hands. If you've ever felt like you need to hide your magic, tone down your gifts, or apologize for your optimism, your intensity, or your toned abs at sixty, this episode is your permission slip to stop shrinking.

This is part one of four episodes exploring the witch wound, belonging, and why nature's rhythms matter for your healing. We're going deep, going wide, and bringing the sass.

    Sep 18 2025

Think shadow work has to be scary, overwhelming, or traumatizing? Time to reframe everything you believe about your sacred shadow.

In this episode of Stay Magic, we explore why your shadow emotions - shame, guilt, resentment, anger - aren't your enemies. They're sacred messengers holding the keys to the parts of yourself you've been keeping in exile. This isn't about toxic positivity or spiritual bypassing; it's about conscious integration that transforms you from the inside out.

    You'll discover:

    1. Why your shadow is sacred, not something to fear or avoid

    2. How the pieces of yourself you've deemed "unacceptable" are actually your greatest gifts in disguise

    3. The difference between toxic shadow (staying stuck in victim energy) and sacred shadow (using it as fuel for transformation)

    4. Simple journaling practices to dialogue with your inner critic and inner witch

    5. How childhood experiences create shadow stories that keep parts of your energy in exile

This is your permission slip to stop procrastinating on your power. Whether you've been walking on eggshells to avoid rejection or hiding your gifts because they make others uncomfortable, it's time to bring all your scattered pieces back to wholeness.

  • Episode 316 Eclipse Season is Here, But Do You Really Need to Know About It?
    Sep 11 2025

Eclipse season is upon us, and if you're feeling overwhelmed by all the "portal" talk flooding your feeds, you're not alone. Here's the truth: not every cosmic event needs to hijack your precious brain space - but this one? This one's worth your attention.

In this episode of Stay Magic, we cut through the spiritual noise and explore what eclipse season actually means for your real, messy life witchy woman. Sara breaks down why working with lunar and seasonal rhythms makes all the difference between feeling scattered by cosmic events and using them as powerful catalysts for transformation.

    You'll discover:

    1. Why eclipse season feels different when you're already living in rhythm with the moon and seasons

    2. How eclipses create "pattern interrupts" and what that means for your personal growth

    3. The real reason you might be clinging to patterns that no longer serve you

    4. How to use your birth chart to personalize eclipse energy (hint: where are your Pisces and Virgo placements?)

    5. Why busy women especially need these cosmic rhythms as anchors in their lives

    You'll learn:

    1. The difference between useful cosmic wisdom and spiritual overwhelm

    2. How to work with eclipse energy without doing elaborate rituals or card spreads

    3. Why living in rhythm transforms you into someone who creates energy instead of just responding to it

If you've ever felt like cosmic events were just one more thing to keep track of, this episode is your permission slip to approach astrology and moon magic as practical life tools - not spiritual homework.
