Welcome back everyone! In this week's episode I had the honor of talking to an assistant coach from D1 basketball with over 18 years of experience. Mike DePaoli was an assistant coach during my time at Fordham and has since moved to Hofstra University where he continues having an impact on high level players. We had a lot to catch up on. We shared some hilarious memories from our time in the Bronx and did a little review of our 4 year span from the two perspectives - coach/player. A big part of the episode is devoted to the challenges that come along with the introduction of NIL (name, image and likeness). How much do get players paid? How does it effect each and every program? How has college basketball changed since? That and much more will be revealed in an episode that won't disappoint!
