Failure Is Not The Problem w/ Cate Johnson

  • Resumen

  • Welcome to episode nineteen of Failure is Not the Problem. I’m George A. Milton, AKA “America’s Failure Coach.” I’ve spent the last 30+ years coaching, mentoring, leading, and training audiences around the world on the positive aspects of how to use their failed experiences to become successful. Join me and our guest, Cate Johnson as we talk about the importance of resilience and persistence when faced with failure.

Dr. Catherine "Cate" Johnson brings 30 years of development experience in more than 40 countries in areas of democracy and governance, maternal-child health, gender and development, conflict resolution, food security, civ-mil partnerships, and child welfare. Cate has achieved a Bronze Level in the equestrian sport of dressage, earned her green belt in Tae Kwon Do, and is a certified Hatha Yoga Instructor - which is what she spends her time teaching now that she has retired from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

Check out Cate's personal website here, and the website for The Market Project here - a place that helps create a safe work environment for trauma survivors. She also has a youtube channel, which you can check out here as well!

You are a champion. How do I know? Because you showed up. If you want to be successful, half the battle is showing up. Most of us from a very early age have been conditioned to believe that failure is negative, but that’s simply not true.
