Failure Is Not The Problem w/ Chevy Cook

  • Resumen

  • Welcome to episode twenty-eight of Failure is Not the Problem. I’m George A. Milton, AKA “America’s Failure Coach.” I’ve spent the last 30+ years coaching, mentoring, leading, and training audiences around the world on the positive aspects of how to use their failed experiences to become successful. Join me and our guest, Chaveso "Chevy" Cook as we talk about how his outlook on failure has made him a better leader through dissection and acceptance - he even has a failure resume!

Chaveso "Chevy" Cook is an active-duty Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army. He has an M.A from Columbia University, and a Doctorate from Tufts, where he focused on human development, particularly the formation of character. Not only is he highly respected as an officer in uniform, but Chevy is also a guest speaker and has been widely published on topics like leadership, influence, organizational change, innovation, mentorship, social justice, and a multitude of other matters involving personal and professional development.

Chevy Cook is active on Linkedin, Facebook, and X. Find him on all platforms, or email him: chevy@militarymentors.org.

You are a champion. How do I know? Because you showed up. If you want to be successful, half the battle is showing up. Most of us from a very early age have been conditioned to believe that failure is negative, but that’s simply not true.
