This week's cinematic journey took us back in time with the film Inu-Oh, a gem suggested by CJ from Anime Anonymous. Both of us found it to be a fantastic watch. The movie offered a fresh perspective on historical storytelling, complete with unique theatrical elements not found in the past. And added an element of rock and roll to it was well which was fun in it's own way. Although the plot left a little to be desired, the overall experience was thoroughly enjoyable.

This week was a solid choice, and it was one that certainly took you out of the norm for healing magic and gives it a fresh new look in a positive way. While the main character is not meant to be the hero of the story Usato is certainly the hero for a majority of people. The story as a whole is solid with great character development and comedic dialog to help break those serious scenes up. This one is well worth the watch, and we would recommend it to anyone.

We take a moment this week with a change of pace and watch something a little more mellow. It was an enjoyable one that Rick had no issues with watching in public. Overall the story main characters were well rounded and written in a way that made them enjoyable. Fel was an enjoyable comedic relief that was not done in the usual way making it all the better. This one is for sure is one that is well worth a watch.

We continue our journey into the Horizon. Sadly, though for us it is just a repeat of what happened last time. The story was a repeat of what it was before and just more drawn out. Though it may be that way by design it may not be something that is for everyone. In general, we thought that if we watched it with a longer time in-between the 2 seasons that we would have viewed it better but also at the same time with how season 1 ended you needed to watch it back-to-back.
