  • Jacob Bowker shares his journey of how God has always shown up for him in the darkest times. After going through a divorce and putting his son in a mental health hospital, Jacob reached out to God in his most broken moment. God began to shift the trajectory of Jacob’s life by teaching him how to love through forgiveness and breaking down the walls built up around his heart. Once he allowed God to heal him on the inside, everything began to change on the outside. God took his experience with an alcoholic parent and drug addicted son and used used it for His glory. He has guided Jacob into ministry serving those who deal with substance abuse and mental health issues. Jacob didn’t feel qualified, but He kept asking the Lord to use him, and God miraculously equipped him with everything he would need. He proved himself to Jacob time and time again that He was real. Jacob’s story is a testimony that no matter what you have been through, no matter how broken you are, God can turn your life around and use your experience for His greater glory! Jacob is the founder of Story Ministry and has written over a dozen books in an effort to help others find healing and transformation.
