    Jul 9 2024

Michael was born and raised a Florida swamp rat, but after graduating college, he ventured west and became a desert dweller. The lower humidity agreed with him and he stayed.

He somehow convinced a company to hire him to program video games, and he made that his profession for quite a while. He loved the games with rich worlds and stories the most. Now he's trying something new – instead of writing code, he's using that love of world-building, character development, and storytelling to write novels.

As a fan of fantasy and science fiction, those are the genres he focuses on in his writing, with an emphasis on action and adventure. His goal is to spread some of the joy he gets from reading by putting my own fantastical stories out into the world.

Abigail O’Bryan writes curses, adventures, and happily ever afters. When not writing, you can find her playing D&D with her friends (or plying them with experimental baked goods), trying to do entirely too much in her garden, and hanging out with her husband and two children in their century-old house in the shadow of the Wasatch Range. Iron Rose is her debut novel.

    Iron Rose

No Kiss Can Break This Curse

A Grendel-like animal bent on overtaking the Beast's mind. A Beauty determined to dethrone a tyrant. The Tale as Old as Time as you've never experienced it before, perfect for fans of Brigid Kemmerer and Marissa Meyer.

There is no future for Lydia Brightwood.

The Crimson Lord, a tyrant bent on destroying Lydia’s country, made sure of that. Her only hope of a different life is to find the one person who could unite her country: a royal heir. There’s just one problem…

    They’re all dead.

The Beast’s humanity is slipping away.

Shut away from the world by a horrible secret, Adam watches the destruction of his homeland from the ruins of a fortress all the while holding the devastating truth in his chest:

    It’s his fault.

Fates interwoven, Adam and Lydia’s paths cross in the ruins of the north where they must find a way to conquer the curse before the country collapses—but being truly human has its price.
