  • Ed Sheeran, David Beckham and many more celebs have got them. It seems to be a growing trend but one that is actually for the better; its beekeeping. What is it about these fascinating creatures that is attracting people all over the world to keep them?

    Unlike us this week who had a bit of a run in with flying insects, Zahira Nedjraoui definitely finds her flow with her bees. She is a mother of 2, her day job is with Dubai Holding and she is also a beekeeper or apiculturist who founded the UAE’s first Beekeepers Association. Since starting in 2005 over 200 people have attended the beekeeping courses. She also set up an educational Bee Garden at The Sustainable City. She has a wonderful story about how she was first introduced to bees and then fell in love with these fascinating creatures.
