In this special edition of "#FocusFightsAudio Presents", our "Chillmeister" J. Christian Gary (@ChrisGary92/@JerryCG92/@CG92BlImp on YouTube) spoke with Former WWE Employee turned Podcaster, Content Creator & Journalist Marie Shadows of Wrestle Tales TV.

In this interview (recorded on Jan. 14th), Marie & Chris talk about what got Marie into Pro Wrestling, what has changed from the Vince McMahon Regime to the Paul "Triple H" Levesque Regime, issues with tribalism in today's Pro Wrestling Landscape, what fans should get excited for in 2024 & who will break out in 2024 among other things.

Before this show began, though, Chris spoke about his mentor, Paul Wein, on the week of 1 Year Anniversary of his passing and what he meant to his podcasting journey. He will be missed. (1.24.72 - 1.5.23) His show, Fever Keeps It Real, is still available to listen to via Blog Talk Radio despite the last episode of the show being in 2020.

While 2023 is winding down as the final fight cards of the year take center stage, there's still some drama taking place outside the ring/cage/fight surface. None of that pales in true comparison to the situation involving Scott Kent, the primary promoter & CEO of Lion Fight (aka Lion Fight Promotions), and his inability to pay his fighters with some them going weeks, months, even years without getting paid for their performance in The Art of the 8 Limbs. On this Special Short Interview Edition of #FocusFightsAudio, "Da Chillmesiter" Chris Gary speaks with Australian Amateur MMA Fighter, Pro Wrestler & Gear Maker Alistair "Iron Box" Fleming aka "Gentleman's Combat" about the issues that Lion Fight has had in paying their most recent Main Event Fighters (Steve "Put 'Em To Sleep" Walker & Jesse Astill), the issues that the similar-styled, yet very different sports of Kickboxing & Muay Thai have in getting big shows across North America & Australia respectively and about the future of promoting things like events, concerts & fight shows as the bigger names keep getting bigger backing over smaller hows that fall by the wayside.
