Gabe has a harrowing tale of when he was first diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Not only can he speak to what it was like to work with bipolar disorder before being diagnosed, but he can also speak to what it was like to “come out” at work and, finally, be fired because of his bipolar disorder.

Gabe Howard hosts the weekly Inside Mental Health podcast for Healthline Media and is the author of Mental Illness is an Asshole and Other Observations.
