    Football transitioned to the short passing game.

    Baseball transitioned to swinging for the homerun and not worrying about strikeouts.

    Basketball transitioned to the 3-pointer.

    I chalk it all up to math and probability. Steve continues to wonder.

    Why are the games so spaced out? Is it because the Conference Finals went 4 - 1 and 4 - 0?

    Steve remembers the UCLA Walton. The 2x dominant NCAA Champion.

    He remembers the oft-injured but dominant Walton of the Dr Jack Ramsay Blazers--along with Maurice Lucas.

    I don't really start knowing Walton until the Celtics - AND he had a whole career arc with San Diego beforehand!

    Oh, and Angel Hernandez is gone!
