  • Meet George S. Everly, Jr., PhD, ABPP,  an absolute expert in the field of disaster mental.  He is a prolific researcher with faculty appointments at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. 

    In addition to his work in academia, Dr. Everly is well known for guiding and advising mental health interventions in times of largescale crisis. He has supported the FBI, CDC, and the US Department of Homeland Security.  Dr, Everly also serves as an non-governmental representative to the United Nations and the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation. 

    He is the author, co-author, or editor of 20 textbooks and over 100 professional papers.  His notable recent publication is THE JOHNS HOPKINS GUIDE TO PSYCHOLOGICAL FIRST AID.
